Our new show, OAK, is coming up!
With a new album in the slipstream, a theatre tour and even a new podcast series.
OAK will kick off at the Oerol Festival from 13 to 22 June on Terschelling. We premiere in one of the most magical spots of the island (see video below), and I hope you can join us!

About OAK
Singer and language artist Nynke Laverman draws you into wondrous worlds with her enchanting voice, always leaving you a little soul struck. Her latest show, OAK, is a magical journey through the realm of the soul, where trees, animals and stones tell their story. Together with sound artist Sytze Pruiksma, using songs, spoken word and storytelling, she weaves an ingenious musical landscape, sometimes edgy and contemporary, sometimes with the mesmerising cadence of an ancient ritual.
With OAK, she builds on what she sowed in her previous album, Plant. Through a timeless universe, Nynke explores and mirrors our western world view in a tender, humorous way, while at the same time bringing to life a different view of reality. The image of man as a destroyer of the earth can’t be the whole story. We are so much more.
OAK opens at the Oerol Festival in June 2025 and will tour the theatres from March 2026.

Concert college with Jitske Kramer
Nynke Laverman and anthropologist Jitske Kramer have joined forces in the concert college ‘Tricky Times’. An energetic lecture that touches the head and the heart, about the current turbulent times of transformation and renewal, based on the book Tricky Times by Jitske and the songs from Nynke’s album Plant.
