Leeuwarden-Fryslân 2018

A short, poetic film about a woman who appears to have it all: a wonderful life in a big city, a good job and a loving marriage. And yet she dreams of escaping and becoming a plant.

Composer and musician Sytze Pruiksma, video artist Douwe Dijkstra and Nynke herself create One of Us, commissioned by Lân fan Taal as part of Leeuwarden Cultural Capital of Europe 2018. They collaborate with dancer Dunja Jocic and actor Hendrik Aerts. The film is projected onto the Oldehove, the famous leaning tower of the Frisian capital. Looking back, the project could be seen as a forerunner of Plant.
